Isaac Newton Song

to the tune of “Desperado” by the Eagles.

isaac newton… was born in woolsthorpe in england, in the county of lincoln, in 1642. he went to cambridge. he studied math-a-ma-ta-tics. he learned lots from kepler and galileo too.

during the plague he went down to the farm, just to visit his old ma, when he discovered the universal law of gravitation. he saw an apple fall from a tree, and he knew that it had to be the same for the earth and the moon.

isaac newton… discovered three laws of motion. the first was inertia, the tendency to move. the second was that force equals mass times acceleration. the third is each action has an opposite one, too.

to the chagrin of many students, he invented integral calculus and wrote principia mathmatica. he used his book to prove to all that his theories all were valid and correct.

isaac newton… then studied light waves and prisms, wrote a book he called optiks, spelled with a k. then he was knighted by anne, the good queen of england. and then in 1726 (he got real sick) and on the night of march 20th… he died in his… sleep.
