As I said in my tweet, I don’t pay for software that doesn’t do what I think it should.
I’ve been using Twikini — a Twitter client for Windows Mobile, and here’s what’s missing: TWEETS.
Oh sure, I can get twenty of them. Or I can get fifty or 100 or even 200. Here’s a screen shot of where you set that:

There are two problems with this approach.
1. If I shut off my device at 5:15 and turn it back on at 5:30 to see more tweets, I don’t care about numbers of tweets, I want every tweet from 5:15 to 5:30 — no more, no less. I don’t care if it’s three or 300, I want to stay up-to-date with my tweets.
2. Let’s stay I’m starting up from scratch, and perhaps in that case Twikini can only get the last N tweets. There is no way for me to ask Twikini to go back in time and get the previous N, and the N before that, and the N before that, the way Twittter’s own mobile web interface lets me do.
A solution to both of these problems would be ideal, but at a minimum, the second feature is an absolute must-have. I hope they’ll consider these as future enhancements. If they do, they’ll certainly have optical communicationsme as a future paying customer.

It’s footballs and kids in football uniforms… and I thought I didn’t know the game…
Rules? Are there rules? They start at the ten yard line and try to score. They get some number of plays, maybe?
I’m pretty much clueless. At least I know which team is North… GO TITANS!!
–
Well that’s the season! I don’t know the final jamboree record, but North wasn’t one of the top four teams that got to stay and keep playing in the fr-r-r-reezing cold!

We’re in frosty-cool Deerfield, NH for the latest installment of…
1. Trot’s road to the CPE nationals
2. Tip’s road to general agility stardom.
So far so good on both roads!
Saturday’s results…
| who | what | result |
| Trot | Jumpers level 3 | Q, placed fourth |
| Trot | Snooker level 2 | Q, placed third |
| Trot | Jackpot level 3 | NQ (super hard, nobody got a Q) |
| Tip | Jumpers level 1 | NQ |
| Tip | Jackpot level 1 | Q, placed first |
Special highlights: Tip and Sherry had an outstanding jackpot run! He won his height class but actually beat every dog at every height!!
Sunday’s schedule…
| who | what | result |
| Trot | Snooker level 2 | Q, placed 2nd |
| Trot | Jackpot level 3 | nq |
| Trot | Full House level 2 | nq |
| Tip | Snooker level 1 | Q, placed 2nd |
| Tip | Jackpot level 1 | nq |
Nationals, you say? If Trot can finish level 2 by the middle of February, he can apply for entry in the CPE Nationals, which are held in the summer in a regionally rotating location — in 2009, they’ll be in New England. There is a lottery for dogs that meet the requirements, so first things first… and then we’ll cross our fingers and paws!

Here’s Dave’s favorite way to get to Parking Lot E at the Topsfield Fairgrounds:
Take Route 3 south to I-495 North. Get off at exit 43 (Mass. Ave.) and follow these directions.

It’s raining cats and dogs and more dogs here in Keene today and we’re nice and cozy under our tent thing. Four classes for Trot today, three for Tip… and we shall see what happens — LIVE!!
Trot had a super jackpot run and took 3rd with a Q!
Tip’s wildcard run was nice and controlled, even if it was a tad off course. Trot had a great run when it was his turn
the results are in from wildcard and wow!! trot got 2nd place in his height, and tip got 3rd place in his… AND ANOTHER Q!! yay puppies!!
sherry just had her best run ever… with tip in the snooker… trot’s turn now…
and a fine snooker run for the big brother, too!
the results are in for the snooker and… Trot Q’!! with a first place in his height!! this was the last level 1 Q he needed for his CPE level one — he did it, he got his title!!
Tip came in 2nd in the 20 inch division and now has his 3rd Q!
jumpers is about to start…
this weekend was a SMASHING success! Trot did Qn jumpers, so he ended up going 7-for-7 for the weekend!
and Tip’s performance was truly stellar — he went 3-for-5, and was so well behaved, it was amazing!
the wall sure is filling up with ribbons — and now doubly so!

It’s day #1 of agility here in Keene, and what a super day!
We started this morning with Colors, and Trot had his game snout on. He Q’d in his level 2 class, and also came in first place! And Tip did an awesome job, staying right with Sherry the whole time — he didn’t Q, but it was a really excellent run!
Next was Trot’s level 3 Standard run, in which he Q’d with a 4th place finish. The big news in this class is that he now moves to level 4 in Standard for next time!
The finale of the day was Full House. Trot went first (16 inch jump height) and had a fine run. But then it was Tip’s turn (20 inches) and I have to say he was perfect! And when the results came in, both Trot and Tip had won 1st place in their respective classes, and both had Q’d! Yes, Tip has his very first Q!!
Sherry has been working super hard with Tip, helping him become less reactive around other dogs, and no doubt that was an important factor. But something new that we tried today was to tire him out before each run. Dave suited up and ran around (sprinted, really!) and now he has the official job of dog tuckerer.
Tune in tomorrow for day #2!
